Doctors & insurance
The records that make an appointment easy to book and a claim easy to file.
Adding a doctor
- 1Go to Doctors and pick the category tab: Medical, Vision, Dental or Pet.
- 2Choose Add doctor and enter the practice details — name, specialty, phone, address and any notes.
- 3Save. The record is live immediately and appears in the scheduling picker; there is no approval step.
Editing and deleting providers
Edit a provider any time. Deleting one that still has appointments attached is blocked, and the app tells you why in plain language rather than failing silently. Remove or reassign those appointments first.
Insurance records
Under Insurance, the same four category tabs hold your policies. Each record can store:
- Carrier name, policy number and group number.
- Effective and expiry dates.
- Notes — copays, deductible, the claims phone number.
- An uploaded card image or policy document.
Documents and privacy
Uploaded documents go into private storage scoped to your account. They are opened through short-lived signed links generated on request, so a URL cannot be shared or reused later.
Store the front and back of a card as separate records if you need both — it is faster than hunting for a wallet at the clinic desk.
Expiry warnings
- A policy expiring within 60 days shows an amber warning on the card.
- A policy already past its expiry date shows a red one.
- Expiry dates also feed the optional reminder emails.
